There are plenty of reasons why WP Crowdfunding is the best of its kind. I guess you know that since you are a regular user! To make your experience even better, this March we’ve updated the WP Crowdfunding plugin with some amazing new features for both paid (v10.22) and free (v1.8.0) versions. Let’s talk about the major changes.

Pay campaign owner 100% amount (pro)

We have been getting requests to make a function that will allow the donor to pay the full amount to the camping owner. Well, our developers have fulfilled your wish. Now you (as an admin of the crowdfunding site) can enable this option with a single click. To enjoy this feature, platform owner needs to setup PayPal Standard to the website and all of the pledges should be paid by that payment gateway.

We’ve made updating easy (pro)

If you are a pro user of WP Crowdfunding then updating is plain as water for you (besides the free users). After adding your license key to the plugin on your site, you will get update notifications as soon as we update our product. An update notification will appear in your dashboard on plugin listing page, you can update by clicking there.

Predefined pledge amount

With this update, the backers can now pledge easily and quickly by just clicking on the predefined amount from the campaign page. You can set the amount from “Predefined pledge amount” just by separating them with a comma (,).

WooCommerce email templates

WooCommerce provides some email templates by default. We have added a few more email templates for various events notification like new user registration, new pledge notification, campaign submission, and campaign acceptance with this update for better communication. You can always customize the templates in your own way.

Show your project on any page you want

This shortcode will allow you to present your campaign page anywhere you want. You can show your campaign in a blog post, on any other pages or anywhere just by adding the shortcode. You need to do the following:

[wp_crowdfunding_single_campaign campaign_id="699" ]

The above code “699” you see, is the id that you will find here (Image below).

Single campaign box shortcode

You can show your campaign listing by a box in anywhere on your site. To show this campaign listing box you need to paste the shortcode just like campaign page. Here’s how:

[wp_crowdfunding_campaign_box campaign_id="699" ]

The above code “699” is the ID of your product.

Dynamic URL redirection

You are now able to redirect your users to your desired URL after a successful registration. All you need to do is, put your desired URL in “Redirect URL for User Registration Success” in WP Crowdfunding’s “General Settings” page.
