In this update, WP Mega Menu brings a couple of cool new features and some fixes to improve overall performance. Let’s check the new features in details.

Conditional Menu Item

Menu items are generally for the visitors to ensure a flexible navigation to the site. In some cases, you may want to show some specific menu items for logged in users only. WP Mega Menu brings conditional menu item showcasing option. Upon enabling this option, the particular menu item will be visible only to logged in users.

Setting up conditional menu item is quite easy. Just click the “WP Mega Menu” option on a particular menu you want only logged in users to see. Go to “Options” on the left bottom then checkmark on Logged in only on the next window. Save the changes by clicking on “Save Changes”. You are done with it.

Change Search Placeholder Text

It’s nothing new that you can place a search bar in the menu as a menu item. This update enables you to place a placeholder text for the search bar. 

Go to WP Mega Menu themes. In the “Themes Settings” enable search bar by check-marking on “Enable Search Bar” then write the placeholder text in the field below. .
