Let’s go straight to the installation.
First of all log into your Admin Dashboard then go to Plugins and click Add new
In the very next window, you will see Plugins search bar with customized search option. Just write Contact Form 7 like the photo below then click install option of the Contact Form 7.
Once you are done with the installation, the Activate button shows up right in the place of install button. Click on the Activate button. Your Plugin will be activated instantly.
Now it comes to what to do with it. Contact option is there in your Dashboard. Go to the Dashboard and click on Contact. You see there is a default contact form made for you in the name of Contact form 1. If you hover over the Contact form 1, you will see the edit option just under it. Click on Edit.
Now it is time to customize your form as per your requirements. You can add text areas, check boxes, drop-down options and more.
When you have made your form ready, click on the mail option to set the email address where this mail will go.
After clicking on the Mail tab you have to write your Email address in the ‘To’ field then copy the shortcode just as the photo below says.
It is time to set this form to your contact page. Go to edit mode of that particular contact page and paste the shortcode
Click Update option of this page. Your Contact page now looks like this.
